Dental fillings

Once tooth decay is established itself, the tooth will continue to decay resulting in sensitivity, pain and infection if left untreated. It is therefore important to have fillings done when advised by your dentist.

How frequently should my teeth be cleaned?

we advise you to have your teeth properly cleaned whenever your dentist recommends, even if it is once every three months or as a part of your oral health review.

If you experience any of the following, make an appointment with your dentist for an evaluation:

  • An old dental filling breaks or comes off the tooth.
  • Your tooth’s surface is gritty.
  • Food chewing hurts.
  • Your tooth has apparent craters or black patches.
  • When you bite into cold or hot food, you could experience some discomfort.
  • You’ve got a broken tooth.
