Porcelain veneers can help you achieve better tooth colour, shape, and alignment.
Veneers can retain their original brilliance and condition for many years with routine care and attention.
In our practice, dental bonding is a one-visit procedure that uses a tooth-colored (composite) resin that is light activated. There is little tooth reduction involved, and there is no need for anaesthesia.
Porcelain veneers, which are much stronger than dental bondings and are less likely to stain, are extremely thin porcelain veneers that are bonded to your teeth. Veneers can retain their original brilliance and condition for many years with routine care and attention.
A small portion of the tooth’s outer enamel surface is removed to ensure that the veneer can be permanently attached to it. To ensure there is no discomfort, a local anaesthetic may be applied, however this is not always necessary. A shade guide is used to match the colour of the neighbouring teeth so that the veneer will appear completely natural.
